Highs Playful handling, just-right four-cylinder engine, makes every sunny day special. Lows Choppy ride, limited space for people and cargo, road noise is loud inside the cabin. Verdict Top-down and bombing along a winding road, the Miata is nearly perfect despite its many well-known compromises

During a few days of downtime in the Romanian capital after the end of the Gumball 3000, we head to the museum (which is open to the public) for a visit and an opportunity to take a look at everything that can be found within. On display are around 160 of the 350 cars that form the collection, sorted by theme and showing a vast variety of different automobiles. Ion Tiriac, former tennis player and then coach, is now an important businessman in Romania and opens his personal collection up for viewing, so a thanks to both him and the team for creating this display and for my visit to share it with you.Read moreloading.....

Ralph LaurenOf all the car collections on this list, my absolute favorite is the one owned by legendary fashion designer Ralph Lauren. The collection of approximately 70 cars is possibly the highest-valued in the world with an estimated value of over $300 million. With a net worth of $6.2 billion, Mr. Lauren can afford to continue to add breathtaking, one-of-a-kind automotive treasures to his collection. The highlight of the collection is the 1938 Bugatti 57SC Atlantic, one of four ever built and one of only two examples that still exist. The car is worth roughly $50 million and won both the “Best in Show” at the 1990 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and the 2012 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, the world's most prestigious car show. Another car in the collection is a 1929 Bentley 4.5-liter 'Blower' that took part in one of the world’s oldest automobile races, The 24 Hours of Le Mans, in 1930, 1932, and 1933.Read moreloading.....I agree to the terms of posting

If you're reading this right now, it's safe to say you love cars. And who wouldn't? Cars are the products of a beautiful marriage between form and functionality. New vehicles are constantly being developed that push the envelope of design, technology, and innovation. So how can you own just one!? The answer to that question is probably that cars are expensive, they take up space, and having more than one or two is usually unnecessary and impractical.
But what if you were a sultan, a prince, a pro athlete, or a successful entrepreneur, and you weren't bound by price or storage restrictions? This article will showcase 25 Jaw-Dropping Images of the Most Expensive Car Collections in the world.
People who collect cars do it for a variety of reasons. Some purchase cars as investments, as many cars appreciate in value over time. This depends, of course, on the rarity and historical background of the vehicle. Other collectors simply need to own the very best of everything and so jump at the opportunity to acquire new models of rare and exotic cars. Many collectors are eccentric personalities who own custom-made vehicles, inspired by their own visions of car design. Regardless of their reasons, the car collectors and their collections featured in this article are extraordinary and incredibly impressive. It's possible to visit and view some of these collections, as a handful of them are actually open to the public. For the majority of the collections, however, you'll have to settle for viewing them here:
